The brief was simple, additional space was required for the clients growing needs but they were in love with the traditional character of their Queenslander. The best option was to go up, this would allow the extra space as well as mitigate the issue of overland water flow and flooding that is present in the area. A DA application was required for this one due to the change of character to the street frontage and addition of the carport to the front. This project is being completed by owner/builder and we are excited to see the final results in the near future. Stay tuned...
