As is quite common these days, the client was extremely keen on capitalizing on their block of land by sub-dividing and relocating the existing traditional Queenslander to one side. Sub-divisions can be complex and we recommend appointing a good town planner to be involved from the onset of the project to ensure a smooth design and construct. Another owner/builder, this project was full of challenges to maintain the original design aesthetic with the additions, while funding those additions with the future resale of the newly created small block.
