This was a small local project in Kenmore that was screaming out for an internal update to the dated kitchen and entry. The space where the existing kitchen and dining were situated was rather small & had no connection to the entry. We proposed a simple design that would open up the space, incorporate a more contemporary dining as well and bring the kitchen and appliances into the 21st Century. The brief and budget were modest, but I believe the the transformation has been dramatic! The project introduced some new fenestration to allow as much natural light, new vinyl flooring, stone counter tops and sleek new joinery. The addition of the island bench allowed us to remove the traditional dining table and integrate a breakfast bar which can also double as an additional prep space.
